At the present time, people are using mobile phones for probing necessary data. But the foremost trouble in mobile search is that the communication between the users and search engines are inadequate by the small form factors of the mobile devices. In this paper, the authors propose an IBUS (Internet Based User Service) that captures the user's preferences in the form of concepts by mining their click through data. User's locations are captured by using the GPS. The user preferences are organized in ontology, which are used to adapt a modified ranking function for rank adaptation of future search results.
