A Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is a dynamic and multi hop mobile wireless network that has configure itself neither a fixed infrastructure nor a central server. Each node in a MANET is a peer to peer act as a router, and communicates with each other. A node that utilizes the network resources only for its own benefit and it does not provide the services and its resources to the other nodes in the network called selfish nodes. Each node in a MANET has limitations, such as battery power and memory storage. Selfish nodes would like to enjoy the benefits provided by the resources of other nodes.
