Implementing Game Theory in Cognitive Radio Network for Channel Allocation: An Overview
Cognitive radio network has been introduced for better utilization of spectrum in wireless network. With change in environment cognitive radios have to change their operating parameters to achieve certain goals. Traditional approach for resource allocation is not applicable on self-organizing networks e.g. Ad-Hoc Cognitive Radio Networks (AHCRNs). In order to tackle the issues related to spectrum allocation game theory has been used. Game theory analyzes and models the interactions among users and allocates resources to users.
