Live virtual machine migration is the process of moving virtual machine from one host to other without disturbance of users. Live migration is used in the case of proactive maintenance, power management, load balancing, energy saving. This paper present and design the novel approach to reduce the total migration time and down time during live virtual machine migration by compressed log files transfer. For providing the effective and fast migration of the virtual machine log compression method uses Huffman encoding and to make the migration effective they use the parallel multithreading technique.
