Visual Cryptography (VC) is a kind of secret image sharing scheme that uses the human visual system to perform the decryption computations. Contrast is one of the most important parameter in visual cryptography schemes. Usually, the reconstructed secret image will be darker than the original secret image. Additional pixel patterns are used to improve the contrast of the reconstructed secret images. The proposed scheme applies filter to reduce the noise and to improve the contrast in the reconstructed secret images.
