Incident Response: How to Fight Back

Highly public breaches at companies, such as Target and Living Social, are pushing organisations to develop in-house incident response (IR) capabilities to prevent such data breaches. SANS conducted a survey focused on the current state of IR, polling security professionals from more than 19 industries and various-sized companies. The goal was to get a clearer picture of what IR teams are up against today-the types of attacks they see and what defences they have in place to detect and respond to these threats.
