LTE stands for long term evolution commonly known as 4G. It is referred as the standard for the high speed data communication for wireless communication. It's the next step toward advancement after 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project). LTE is propagated using OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) technique. The main drawback of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems is the high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR), which significantly reduces the efficiency of the transmit High Power Amplifier (HPA).
