Vehicular Ad hoc NETworks (VANETs) are a one form of wireless networks. It is used for communication between vehicles on roads. The conventional routing protocols are suitable for Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs). But it's poorly in VANETs. As communication links break often happen in VANETs compare than in MANETs, the reliable routing is more difficult in the VANET. This paper has been done to the routing reliability of VANETs on highways. In this paper, the authors use the intelligent transportation system for VANETs.
