Software effort, time and quality estimation is an important aspect in software projects. Accurate estimates are required for efficiently developing software systems. Many estimation methods have been proposed during the last 30 years. Among those methods, the most widely used model due to its simplicity for estimating the effort in person-month and the time in months for a software project at different stages the model used to estimate the quality of the software project in defects/KSLOC (or some other unit of size). Now-a-days, estimation models are based on neural network, the fuzzy logic modeling etc. for finding the accurate estimation for software development effort, time and quality. Because there is no clear guideline for designing neural networks and also fuzzy logic approach is hard to use.
