Software requirements always evolve in software development projects, in particular, agile projects, due to frequent changing demands of clients' needs. Managing change requests requires a proper technique and tool to maintain user requests in order to avoid mistakes which may lead to project or product failures. An empirical study has been conducted to characterize factors related to change requests in agile projects. Moodle and Apache, two open source projects that practice agile methodology, have been selected to empirically investigate the research question.
