The different data mining techniques like classification, clustering, association mining can be applied on different applications to bring out new knowledge from it. This paper aims at applying association mining on educational data to understand the knowledge and performance of students. Apriori algorithm is implemented on student log data to bring out the interesting rules. There rules can be used to infer the performance of the students and to impart the quality of education in the educational institutions.
