Feature-Oriented Programming (FOP) is a new paradigm which allows decomposition of a program into its constituent features. Typically, from a set of features many different software systems can be generated that share common features and differ in other features incrementally. In the present paper, the application of FOP methodology has been investigated in the development of the banking software: MGBankSoft using Eclipse-FeatureIDE environment. The paper is to reveal the usefulness of FOP methodology in software development for banking system. The paper concludes that FOP methodology in Eclipse-feature IDE environment offers powerful support for modular design and implementation of banking software system with user selected features.
