Investigating the Impacts of Scalability and Mobility on the Performance of MANET Routing Protocols
This paper investigates the performance of three MANET routing protocols (Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing (AODV), Geographic Routing Protocols (GRP) and Optimized Link State Routing protocol (OLSR)) in terms of two performance metrics: delay and throughput. This paper approaches the area from two particular perspectives: the impacts of varying nodes number and movement speed. This paper is based on a simulation approach using OPNET modeler 16.0 simulators. The simulation results show that the OLSR offers outstanding results in delay and throughput in all scenarios.
