Iterative Interference Reduction with MMSE-FDE in the Downlink for a PB/MC-CDMA System

In this paper, the authors introduce novel interference cancellation schemes in order to improve the performance in the Partial Block Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (PB/MC-CDMA) environment. They are called OIC (Order Interference Canceller). In the OIC scheme, they should find the signal which is the strongest step by step and later removed from the receiver signals to reduce the interference. The OIC is able to achieve better performance by reducing the interference and compensating fading channel of signals. The performance and effectiveness of the proposed system are demonstrated by computer simulations.
