Knowledge Acquisition Implementation for Advanced Expert System Processing

The aim of this paper is the processing and evaluating of plethysmographycal records giving important information about the blood vessel function. Result of this study is to present the methodology, that was named SYMPLERA (SYstematic Method for PLEthysmographycal Records Analysis), for classifying the records by means of mathematical methods, that would contribute to systematic evaluation of what has been found by finger plethysmography. Essence of this methodology is to make use of the wavelet and Fourier integral transformations, the mathematics base and use of which has been described in this paper.
