Localization in WSN Using Modified Trilateration Based on Fuzzy Optimization
Localization is a fundamental problem in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and is more challenging in the mobile sensor network than in the static sensor network. In a system formed by hundreds of sensors deployed in a large area, it is important to know the position of each sensor. This information can be calculated using either of the several localization algorithms. This paper proposed a novel fuzzy based algorithm to solve the trilateration problem (i.e. when the node is in the overlapping region of circles) in WSNs, with the objective of estimating the location of sensors according to the knowledge of the position of some reference nodes.
