Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) is a collection of wireless mobile terminals that are able to dynamically form a temporary network without any aid from fixed infrastructure or centralized administration. There are different protocols for handling the routing in the mobile environment. This project will focus on three well know protocol: 'Ad hoc on-demand distance vector', 'Optimized link state routing protocol' and 'Dynamic MANET on demand protocol'. The implementation of AODV, OLSR and DYMO routing protocol and their comparison based on the performance metrics: throughput and end-to-end delay is carried out using NS-2 (Network Simulator version-2) simulator.
