Matrix Powers Algorithm for Trust Evaluation in PKI Architectures
Public-Key Infrastructures (PKI) is considered as the safeguard of the security of communications on large scales networks like Internet. Different trust models have been proposed to interconnect the various PKIs components in order to propagate the trust between them. This paper provides a simple model for trust and reputation management in PKI architectures, and a new algorithm to assess trust relationships in a network using different trust evaluation schemes. Public Keys Infrastructures (PKI) is the keys of trust. The principle of a PKI is to establish (using certificates) a trust environment between network entities and thus guaranty the security of communications.
