Maximum Distance Based Key Hopping (MDBKH) is a process of key hopping that can be used to interchange the user key of a cipher. Maximum distance based key hopping is depending on the maximum difference between the plaintext packet and cipher-text packet to change the user key by computing all distances between the plaintext packet and cipher-text packet then choose the key which is related with the maximum distance. In this paper, the authors discuss various key hopping methods and suggest a procedure of maximum distance based key hopping.
