Measurement of End to End Delays in Ad Hoc 802.11 Networks
In order to have maximum utilization of the resources as well as to enhance the throughput of the network, its Quality of Service (QoS) plays a significant role. The decentralized characteristics of ad hoc network need a highly optimized and enhanced technique for optimizing the fundamental performance parameters of network. An effective available bandwidth estimation approach and throughput optimization mechanisms might be the optimum solution for increasing throughput as well as QoS of network. The approach of estimating end-to-end delay in IEEE 802.11 multi-hop network might be an effective way for bandwidth estimation and optimum utilization of resources.
