This paper aims at explaining why mediation online is suitable for ecommerce cases, especially for B2C conflicts. Moreover, the different problems of B2C transactions are presented and given possible solutions. The focus of the paper is to find out whether there are common patterns in the performance of ODR providers when dealing with commercial disputes that is why three European institutions are chosen and briefly described. The key points that will be compared and illustrated by tables and figures are the process, the toolkit, the cost, the number of cases, the type of cases, the nature of the dispute, the results, the duration and other interesting data.
