Parallel processing shows considerable potential to deliver cost-effective solutions to applications with high requirements in performance. Parallel computing is an evolution of serial computing that attempts to emulate what has always been the state of affairs in the natural world: many complex, interrelated events happening at the same time, yet within a sequence. In this paper, the authors propose the development of an application for generating tonal melodies using parallel processing algorithm. This paper describes to ascertain their current understanding of tonal music by means of giving discrete chords as input (viz Sa, Re,Ga,Ma,Pa,Dha,Ni) to generate million combinations through recursive tree algorithm and block of data is filtered according to genetic musical rules.
