Steganography is the art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one apart from the intended recipient knows of the existence of the message. This can be achieved by concealing the existence of information within seemingly harmless carriers or cover. Here carrier can be text, image, video, audio, etc. As steganography has very close to cryptography and its applications, the main differences between them is cryptography is about concealing the content of the message. At the same time encrypted data package is itself evidence of the existence of valuable information. Steganography goes a step further and makes the cipher text invisible to unauthorized users.
