The microstrip patch antenna has microstrip patch, dielectric substrate, ground plane and feed in it. Recently, microstrip patch antenna is widely used in such applications like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, WLAN etc. In this paper, the microstrip patch antenna is designed for Industrial Scientific and Medical (ISM) band applications, which resonates at 2.404GHz. The size of the structure is comparatively smaller and microstrip line feed is used as the feeding method. The different output parameters of the antenna are investigated. The simulation is done by using CST Studio Suite 2011.
