Data mining is the extraction of the hidden predictive information from large databases. It is one of the steps in knowledge discovery in databases. The goal of knowledge discovery is to utilize the existing data to find new facts and to uncover new relationships that were previously unknown, in an efficient manner with minimum utilization of space and time. Mining frequent item-sets is the processing of mining frequents item-sets from spatial databases which are occurred frequently in the spatial databases. For mining frequent item-sets there are many algorithms like association rule mining, apriori algorithm, Frequent-Pattern (FP-Tree) algorithm.
