Dusty plasma has opened up a completely new field of research in the domain of plasma physics. In addition to electrons, ions and neutrals in "Ordinary" plasmas, dusty plasmas contain massive particles of nanometer to micrometer size. Dusty plasmas are widespread in astrophysical situations like in the rings of Saturn, in cometary tails or in interstellar clouds. Using Quantum HydroDynamic (QHD) model, a comprehensive investigation of propagation of longitudinal acousto-electric wave in colloids laden semiconductor plasmas is presented.
