Introducing process orientation to overcome the functional-oriented organizational structure was the main concern within enterprise during the last decade. The next wave of process-oriented enterprises deals with cross organization business processes characterized by high automation effort and supported by a wide penetration of e-Business technologies. In this paper, the authors analyze the requirements of modeling collaborative e-Business processes taking into account the specific challenges Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are facing with. A designed analysis framework based on the Balanced ScoreCard (BSC) concept structures the indicators in four different perspectives: financial, working process, innovation/ learning and user.
