Multi Error Correction Scheme Based on Keyboard Scan Decoding for NOCS With Type Ii HARQ

The increasing probability of multi-bit interconnect errors in nanoscale technology will require the use of more powerful error control coding methods. For this, product code concept using extended hamming code can correct multiple errors using low complexity hardware. Decoding of the proposed work is based on keyboard scan method instead of three stages decoding as suggested in earlier method. This way decoding not only reduce a stage of decoding but also able to correct maximum number of errors compared to the previous works.
