Ad-hoc networks are becoming a very important tool for many nonconventional civil and military applications. In this adverse environment it is very difficult for the source to send the information to the destination in multicasting style. The main requirement of the network is to provide the security and promising the message integrity. To solve the various problems in the multicasting style for very large ad-hoc networks a modified tiered authentication multicast scheme is developed. This paper has two steps, the first step includes generation of keys and these keys are used to form the message authentication code for every packet sent to the receiver.
