A major challenge in network virtualization environment is how to fairly and efficiently allocate the various sacred physical resources of infrastructure providers among multiple virtual networks. In this paper, the authors propose a resource allocation scheme based on multidimensional game theory for network virtualization. They introduce multidimensional game theory to virtual resource allocation, aimed at investigating the interactions among multiple VNs. Firstly, they formulate the payoff function of non-cooperative VNs, consisting of the utility function, price function and congestion function.
