Near-Threshold Computing of Exclusive-OR and Exclusive-NOR Standard Cells Based on Mix Logic
In this paper, near-threshold Exclusive-OR and Exclusive-NOR standard cells are introduced into SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation) 130nm CMOS libraries. The new Exclusive-OR and Exclusive-NOR cells are realized based on mix logic for low voltage operating, which consists of complementary pass-transistor logic and differential cascade voltage switch logic. The Exclusive-OR and Exclusive-NOR gate standard cells are optimized by using channel-length biasing techniques to achieve low Energy Delay Product (EDP). All circuits are simulated with HSPICE at a SMIC 130nm CMOS technology by varying supply voltages from 0.6V to 1.2V with 0.1V steps.
