Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. Cloud computing security or more simply, cloud security is an evolving sub-domain of computer security, network security, and more broadly, information security. It refers to a broad set of policies, technologies, and controls deployed to protect data, applications and the associated infrastructure of cloud computing.
