Negotiation Do's And DON'TS

Very few people have to negotiate on a regular basis. Sure, you may negotiate with a dealer to buy a new car every few years. But even that is a lower pressure situation since you are the customer and the dealer is most likely willing to do whatever it takes to close the sale. So if you're unsure about how to negotiate for the best compensation package, you're not alone. Negotiating skills are important, but they're what you use once you're getting interview requests from employers. If you don't have employers calling you yet, you should first work on generating leads.
