Small and large sized enterprises are facing the same challenges in integrating their business processes and designing their business model taking into account the disrupting elements of Web2.0. Most aspects of these strategies are particularly favourable to large corporations featuring large IT infrastructure, IT competences and budget unmatched by SMEs. Nonetheless a consistent share SMEs is actively trying to fill this knowledge gap and innovate also through Web 2.0 technologies. The aim of the paper is to investigate how innovative SMEs manage their Web 2.0 strategy; in other words, how the organisation of innovation activities and the entrepreneurial evolutionary trends contribute to Web 2.0 technologies adoption dynamics.
