"Software performance estimation is a significant phase of software design and analysis. There are two types of software architecture, sequential and parallel. Performance of software varies in respect of sequential and parallel design. The major aspect of the software architecture may it be sequential or parallel, is to identify the important characteristics of a software system throughout the lifetime of the software. UML is an essential tool in software modeling and design as it has rich visual modeling semantics. UML could be used to formalize the notations in various system modeling approaches."
