On the Degree of Freedom Region of Time Correlated MISO Broadcast Channels With Delayed CSIT

The essential ingredients of the proposed scheme lie in the quantization and multicasting of the overheard interferences, while broadcasting new private messages. The authors' proposed scheme smoothly bridges between the scheme recently proposed by Maddah-Ali and Tse with no current state information and a simple zero-forcing beamforming with perfect current state information. In most practical scenarios, perfect Channel State Information at Transmitter (CSIT) may not be available due to the time-varying nature of wireless channels as well as the limited resource for channel estimation.
