In this paper, the authors have deeply investigated the optical signal processing of optical delay line filter for high speed optical transmission network applications. They have developed their model to include user defined bit sequence generator length of 128 which is provided to the amplitude modulator instead of electro-optical modulator at a data rate of 10 to 40Gb/s. Rectangular optical filter at line transmission is employed with low pass Chebyshev filter instead of low pass Bessel filter in their model.
