Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) suffers from large Peak-to-Average Power Ratios (PAPR), to overcome this problem, the Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS) based on PAPR reduction, where the total search for the number of subblocks and the rotation factors must be accomplished. However, PTS technique introduces additional complexity where extra Inverse Fast Fourier Transformations (IFFTs) processing is needed, reduction in the bandwidth efficiency of the system, or power increase to avoid transmitting side information. In this paper, a modified PTS combined with interleaving and pulse shaping techniques for PAPR reduction has been presented.
