Authentication is the process of verifying the identity of someone. Passwords provide security mechanism for authentication and protection services against unwanted access to resources. Password based authenticated key exchange are protocols which are designed when password shared between two users is drawn from a small set of values. Key exchange protocols allow two or more parties communicating over a public network to establish a common secret key called a session key. In this paper, the authors consider PAKE protocols in the three party in which users establish common secret do not share a password between themselves but only with trusted server.
