In this paper, the partial transmit sequences scheme for the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) reduction in Multi-Input Multi-Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system with Space Frequency Block Coding (SFBC) is proposed. The key idea of the paper is to generate some multi-sequences via combining the signals at different transmit antennas in SFBC structure. Theoretical analysis and simulation results validate that the proposed scheme has the ability to provide large PAPR reduction with low bit error rate and low computational complexity without side information to the receiver in SFBC MIMO-OFDM systems.
