These recent years have witnessed an extreme growth in research and development in the field of wireless networks. The special focus has been on ad-hoc networks especially mobile ad-hoc network. Mobile ad-hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile hosts forming a temporary network without the aid of any centralized infrastructure. Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) are self-organizing and self-configuring multi hop wireless networks where, the structure of the network changes dynamically. This is mainly due to the mobility of the nodes. The MANET architecture suffers from a highly unstable topology as the links between the nodes break frequently due to movement of the user.
