With the increased demand for communication service of all kinds (voice, text and video etc. etc.) Broadband Integrated Service Digital Networks (B-ISDN) has received increased attention in the past few years. The key to the success of B-ISDN system is the ability to support a wide variety of traffic and diverse service and performance requirements.
