Performance Analysis of Wireless Ad-Hoc Network Routing Protocols for File Transfer Protocol
Mobile ad-hoc networks need to support varied applications to make them a useful communication tool at a fly. In this paper, the performance of ad-hoc network is analyzed for heavy load traffic i.e. for File Transfer Protocol (FTP) at different network sizes using different routing protocols in OPNET. Routing in ad-hoc network is non-trivial due to highly dynamic nature of the nodes. The routing protocols considered are DSR and OLSR and their performance is analyzed using-throughput, delay and retransmission attempt parameters.
