Performance Appraisal Uses

Performance Appraisal (PA) helps to evaluate the performance of employees in an organization. It forms the basis of several personnel decisions including dispensing bonuses, giving promotions, and designing an effective compensation mechanism. PA also helps in the identification of training needs for the employees. The paper examines the uses of PA and discusses the PA process.
