A mobile ad-hoc network is a self configuring infrastructure less network of mobile devices connected by wireless links. Each device in a MANET is free to move in any direction and will change its links to other devices frequently. Most of the researches has been made on routing protocols in MANET. But the real service provision for MANET is, it's important parameter i.e. mobility. When a node moves from one subnet to other subnet, then it requires an IP address for data transferring without any interference. Generally there are two distinct approaches for enabling wireless mobile units to communicate with each other: infrastructure and infrastructure less.
