In wireless communication fading of channels is the serious cause of the received degraded signals. The effect of fading can be minimized by using various time and space domain techniques. However, space domain techniques are preferred over the others due to its advantages. In this paper, performance evaluation of MIMO-OFDM (Multiple Input, Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) under various channels is presented. The next-generation wireless systems are required to have higher voice quality as compared to the present cellular mobile radio standards and provide high bit rate data services (up to 2 Mbits/s).
