Performance Evaluation of Routing Protocols in Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs) Using Random Waypoint Mobility Model
Wide area research has been done in MANETs, with a major focus on the routing protocols in MANETs i.e. AODV, DSR, OLSR and so many others. Much research has been done using different tools to study and analyze the performance of the routing protocols in MANET. Different results are shown by the different simulation environments depending on the number of mobile nodes, mobile node speed and varying network load. In this paper, the authors have studied and analyze the performance of the routing protocols i.e. AODV, DSR and OSLR using OPNET modeler 14.5 and the back end compiler used is Microsoft Visual C++.
