Now-a-days, RDF graph is used to represent the semantic data. Since, the amount of RDF data is increasing and managing them is becoming a matter of utmost importance. Those methods that have so far been used for managing the RDF data have encountered the problem of scalability. MapReduce has been introduced as a standard framework to process a high amount of data in parallel and to some extent it has solved the scalability problem. The present paper aims at investigating the studies done on the RDF data management and saving them and performing the SPARQL query through MapReduce.
