Pocket Caching: A Strategy of Prefetching Cache Based on Multi-objective Optimization for Mobile Cloud Computing

In this paper, the authors present pocket caching, a prefetching cache strategy to identify the data to be loaded in a mobile node participating in a Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) environment. MCC is a new paradigm and is consider as the extension of mobile devices services in an elastic and transparent way through the ubiquitous wireless access to third-party computing and storage resources. New applications are emerging in this context. They are mainly characterized by large amount content generation in a collaborative and dynamic way. Additionally, the user interaction (content access and generation), depends on user location and interaction of others users.
