WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks) refers to a group of spatially dispersed and dedicated sensors for monitoring and recording the physical conditions of the environment and organizing the collected data at a central location. Procedure of the wireless sensor networks are sensing, actuating and relaying the collected information. Wireless sensor networks usually battery powered and very energy constrained, present main challenge is the energy efficiency. Usually in WSNs the communication consumes most of the energy. But recently wireless sensor nodes are introduced that comprise also energy-consuming sensors, apart from normal ones like for temperature, pressure and humidity sensors.
